What is the SGR?
SGR stands for Travel Guarantee Fund Foundation (Stichting Garantiefonds Reisgelden). If you book with a tour operator affiliated with the SGR, you will benefit from additional protection for your trip. The SGR covers the costs if the tour operator runs into financial difficulties or goes bankrupt. You won't lose your money, as the SGR covers your costs. When booking your Transavia Holidays package holiday, you pay €5 per person as a contribution to the SGR.
