How does the exchange guarantee work?
Want to change your holiday plans? No problem. With our exchange guarantee, you can swap your Transavia Holidays booking up to 21 days before departure. We’ll cancel your package holiday and provide you with a voucher, which you can easily use to book a new trip via Transavia Holidays. And the best part? You’re not limited to the same destination or travel period—giving you maximum flexibility.
Terms and conditions for your voucher:
- The exchange guarantee applies only to package holidays that include a Transavia flight. If your booking includes a KLM flight, the exchange guarantee is not applicable.
- The voucher is valued at the original package holiday price, excluding change fees, cancellation insurance premium (if purchased through Transavia Holidays), SGR contribution, booking fees, and any applicable payment fees. An administration fee of €35 per person applies.
- You can redeem the voucher via the Transavia Holidays website. The voucher is valid for 12 months to make a new booking, and the newly booked package holiday must take place within 18 months of issuance.
- The exchange guarantee only applies to bookings made on or after February 3, 2025.
- The voucher cannot be used for an existing booking and is only valid for a new Transavia Holidays reservation.
- The voucher is valid for all Transavia destinations and those of our partners within the Transavia Holidays selection. Prefer a different destination? No problem! Simply choose from the many available options.
- If your new trip costs less than the voucher’s value, the remaining amount will not be refunded, nor will a new voucher be issued for the difference. If your new package holiday is more expensive, the additional cost will be charged to you.
- The voucher cannot be combined with another voucher code.
- The voucher is valid only for a Transavia Holidays package holiday and cannot be used for standalone flight tickets.
- The exchange guarantee applies per booking and cannot be requested per individual traveler. The voucher is not issued in the name of a specific person, meaning it can be used by other travelers, not just the original bookers.
- The exchange guarantee cannot be used again for a future booking.
- Once the exchange guarantee is requested, the voucher will be sent to the main booker and cannot be split per individual traveler.
- For any new booking made with the voucher, mandatory contributions will still apply: the SGR contribution (€5.00 per person) and the Calamity Fund contribution (€2.50 per booking).
