Am I entitled to compensation in the event of a delay?

In the event of a delay of 3 hours or more, you may be entitled to financial compensation. This has been determined by the European Court of Justice on the basis of European rules (EU Regulation 261/2004). 


Whether you are eligible for compensation still depends on a number of things. Sometimes a flight is delayed due to an 'extraordinary circumstance'. This is something that we, as an airline, cannot do anything about. Think of strikes, bad weather or security problems. 


Is your flight delayed for another reason? Then you are probably entitled to compensation. The amount of the compensation depends on the length of the flight.
